Top 15 Teen Movie Hotties - In Past and Now

15. Larisa Oleynik

The former star of the teen movie 10 Things About You, this former child star who was once known for the starring role in The Secret World of Alex Mack and The Baby-Sitters Club, seemed like a dream. The ultimate girl next door, Larisa supposedly dated her costar in the film, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, which led to her acting alongside him in 21 episodes of 3rd Rock from the Sun. Set to appear in the 2016 film, Animal Among Us, she has guest starred in several TV Series, including Mad Men and Pretty Little Liars, over the last several years.

14. Lori Singer

What kind of monster would ban dancing? Well, it turns out that in the movie Footloose, it happens to be Reverend Shaw Moore, the father of Lori Singer’s rebellious teen Ariel Moore. The man must be crazy to hate fun so much and name his daughter something kooky like Ariel. After she found mainstream success, Lori gained roles in the horror movie Warlock, the neo-noir film Trouble in Mind and the Robert Altman comedy-drama Short Cuts. Cast in an episode of Special Victims Unit in 2011, she took part in a couple of short films before landing a small role in the biographical film, Experimenter in 2015.

13. Kirsten Dunst

After knocking the acting world on its butt with her fantastically evil performance as a child vampire who relishes killing in Interview with the Vampire, Kirsten has appeared in several films and on TV. During her teenaged years, Kirsten appeared in Drop Dead Gorgeous, Bring It On, Get Over It, Crazy/Beautiful and Virgin Suicides, a darker and more dramatic film. After starring in the Spider-Man trilogy, all of which were box office behemoths and the must see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and many more, she suffered a lull of sorts. Recently giving a masterful performance in the second season of the show Fargo, we hope to see more of Kirsten soon.

12. Nia Long

Boyz n the Hood stars a group of young men and one alluring young woman played by Nia Long, living in the violence-drenched South Central Los Angeles. A seminal film that may not be typically called a teen movie, the fact that several characters are supposed to be attending high school and struggling with the next chapter of their lives seems to fit the genre. She is also well remembered, of course, for her recurring role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Nia’s other film credits include Boiler Room, The Best Man, Big Momma’s House and its sequel to name just a few. Currently set to star in an upcoming television series based on the classic eighties comedy Uncle Buck, the show may not last but our love for Nia Surely will.

11. Lacey Chabert

When the show Party of Five began, it starred a group of teens and Lacey, who at the age of twelve seemed far younger than reality, based on her small size. As she grew up and the show came to an end, movies began to call her way, which led to roles in Not Another Teen Movie and Mean Girls, in which she played a high schooler despite being in her twenties. A gorgeous woman today, she showed off her impressive curves with a spread in Maxim, appeared in the horror remake Black Christmas and most recently has become a fixture of Hallmark’s TV movies.

10. Jami Gertz

The Lost Boys may not be a typical teen movie, but for our purposes, watching a group of eighties youth playing a group of glamorous vamps more than fits the bill. If you’re a stickler, however, Jami also appeared in the quintessential John Hughes film, Sixteen Candles. After acting alongside the likes of Robert Downey Jr. in Less Than Zero and Bill Paxton in Twister, she’s spent years mainly working in television. Given recurring roles in ER, Ally McBeal, and Entourage, she even played leading roles in Still Standing and The Neighbors, the latter of which is her most recent role having come to an end in 2014.

9. Stacey Dash

Although the movie Clueless and its spinoff series ostensibly starred the character Cher, played by both Alicia Silverstone and Rachel Blanchard, we admit it was Stacey’s Dionne that stole the spotlight. You might think that is because she and her onscreen boyfriend, played by Donald Fasion, were two of the only actors to make the transition, but to us, she seemed the sexiest of the group. After all, she is one of either cast that was also tapped to pose nude for Playboy. As gorgeous now as she has ever been, she still receives regular but unheralded roles in movies. On TV, she currently co-hosts the show Outnumbered for the Fox Business Network and memorably made a strange cameo at the 2016 Academy Awards ceremony.

8. Michelle Burke

The nineties stoner movie that starred a group of young actors pretending to be teens in the 1970s, Dazed and Confused, was populated by a lot of future celebrities. Despite the star-studded cast, it was Michelle Burke and her glorious ass, she stuffed in super tight jeans that played the romantic interest of the film’s lead. Cast in Coneheads as an alien daughter and Major League II as the girlfriend of Charlie Sheen’s character. She hasn’t acted on-screen since 2012 where she was in a practically unknown project.

7. Molly Ringwald

The Brat Pack ruled over teen films in the eighties and their queen was Molly Ringwald, who was even more popular at the time than fellow Brat Packer, Demi Moore. Starring in three John Hughes movies, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink, she is an icon which led to her topping VH1’s 100 Greatest Teen Stars list. Years later, in both the nineties and two thousands, Molly appeared in Teaching Mrs. Tingle and Not Another Teen Movie, two new entries to the genre. One of the stars of The Secret Life of the American Teenager for five years she also performed in two movies in 2015.

6. Mia Sara

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off has to be one of the most beloved films ever. The perfect film to be shown on television, since a lot of people, can’t stop watching if it is on no matter how far in they are, it has been broadcast again and again over the years. Many of us desperately wanted to be like Ferris every time we watched it. He was so adored by his peers that the hint of him being sick, caused his entire school to mourn, he never seemed to be afraid of an adventure and he had the coolest girl in the world, Sloane, played by Mia Sara. Also appearing alongside Tom Cruise in Legend and JCVD in Timecop, she has appeared in several television projects over the last decade.

5. Martha MacIsaac

Superbad was a comedy starring five young high school students, four of which were played by either celebrities at the time or actors who’d become famous based on their role. The only one of the young stars, who hasn’t achieved any major fame since, Martha MacIsaac, played the romantic interest of Michael Cera’s character with gleeful abandon. Despite being a very pretty young lady, many of Martha’s subsequent roles were as a voice over actor in shows like Family Guy, Di-Gata Defenders, and a few others. Currently starring in the show, The Pinkertons, which focuses on stories of the famed Pinkerton Detective Agency, her face is broadcast in several countries.

4. Kerri Green

Is it even possible to be a child of the eighties and not love The Goonies? Probably, but we don’t get it. A movie about a group of kids and a few teens that go on a treasure hunt, Josh Brolin and Kerri Green supplied the film with some good looks but it’s Kerri we care about here. Moving on to act in Summer Rental, a John Candy comedy, and Lucas, as the girl the titular child is infatuated with, Kerri definitely made her mark on the film scene of the time. She has reunited with her fellow, former Goonies in recent years, once for an Empire Magazine photo shoot and to record commentary for the film’s DVD release. She starred in the 2012 film, Complacent and still writes scripts for her production company, Independent Women’s Artists.

3. Lizzy Caplan

When Mean Girls was released, Lizzy Caplan was cast as the nerdy gothic girl who routinely butted heads with the popular and feared girls, known as The Plastics. She pulled off the role handily but if you’ve seen her nude appearances in the years since and gotten a glimpse of her amazing body, you’ll know just how alluring she truly is. Featured in starring roles in Cloverfield, Hot Tub Time Machine, The Interview and several other films, you’ve likely seen her a lot. Lizzy also has an impressive TV resume, with guest roles in shows like New Girl, The League, she starred in Party Down and currently headlines Masters of Sex.

2. Lea Thompson

If you were asked who the female lead of the Back to the Future trilogy is, after some consideration, we believe most people would answer Lorraine Baines, played by Lea Thompson. The main character’s mother, who seems sticky sweet on the outside, hides an inner rebel, a facet she’d show in several other roles. All the Right Moves and Red Dawn both featured the stunning redhead in the same era. Later on in life, she starred in the critically lambasted Howard the Duck and the sitcom Caroline in the City. Currently co-starring in the ABC Family series, Switched at Birth since 2011, she also placed sixth in a 2014 season of Dancing with the Stars.

1. Jennifer Love Hewitt

A co-star of the aforementioned Lacey Chabert during the run of Party of Five, Jennifer in our opinion was the most attractive woman to appear on the show, which is an impressive feat. Later cast in the teen horror I Know What You Did Last Summer and the teen romantic comedy, Cant’ Hardly Wait, where she played a girl everyone wanted to be with, she must’ve known that feeling well. Currently acting mostly on TV, she has previously starred in Ghost Whisperer, The Client List, where she was a scantily clad sex worker, and Criminal Minds, her most recent effort.
